Event EIMAEnergyNew energy for agricultureThe sector of energy from renewable sources is carrying more and more weight in the field of agriculture. Interest in the primary sector in the self-generation of energy has been directed for years to an increasing number of small and medium-size enterprises assessing the potential provided by the use of the local resources available, such as biomass, the sun and wind.
These developments are also reflected in the industrial development strategies of many agricultural machinery manufacturers in orienting production in the direction of innovative technologies connected to the bioenergy production chain. A successful experienceOn this premise, the EIMAEnergy salon was created and dedicated to the exhibition of products, technologies and services for the generation of energy from renewable resources in agriculture. Reaching its second edition, the event will again be staged in the highly qualified framework of EIMA International, the great world mechanization review attended by businesspeople, farmers, contractors, maintenance experts and everyone involved in all the various activities taking place in rural settings. Data on the 2008 edition shed light on the caliber of this event: 1,635 exhibitors with 436 of them arriving from abroad, 118,173 visitors from around Italy and 22,509 from other countries around the world. EIMAEnergy 2008Already with its first edition, EIMAEnergy won remarkable consensus, displayed highly respectable numbers and was able to vaunt the sponsorship and cooperation of the institutions and organizations which, in various capacities, are involved in the bioenergy production chain.
EIMAEnergy 2010 - A strategic sector, a growing marketTo comply with the goals established for Europe in EU Directive 2009/28, Italy must produce a significant share of energy derived from agricultural and forestry biomass.
The energy revolution expected in the years to come will be fundamental for a new economy which is increasingly attentive to efficiency and sustainability. At the national level alone, investments of tens of billions of Euros in the bioenergy, solar and wind energy sectors will be required not only to benefit of the industrial sector but the primary sector as well. EIMAEnergy 2010 is coming alone at a time of strategic importance in the global process of developing renewable sources for energy. Visiting, taking part and exhibiting in the salon means fully grasping the new opportunities offered by the market. An ample and lively theme spaceAn ample exhibition area of some 5,000 m² in pavilion 35 will host the exhibiting companies in the static sector of the salon. Two roomy halls in pavilion 35 will be set up for theme seminars and technical-scientific conferences. The number of specific signs posted and a layout providing a guided tour route will ensure even greater visibility for EIMAEnergy and facilitate visits by the general public. |
